The iQOO 13 is likely to launch soon as the company has started teasing its next flagship phone. iQOO has released a teaser image, showing the front design of the iQOO 13. This confirms that the next-gen flagship from iQOO could debut with a fresh look. Here is everything to know.
The image shows that the iQOO 13 will have a boxy design with flat frames and curved edges. It will feature a tiny notch on the front. The display seemingly has minimal bezels around it. iQOO hasn’t yet revealed the back camera look, so it is unknown whether the new smartphone has a different design compared to the iQOO 12 or the same camera module. The side frames are seemingly glossy. The rest of the details are expected to be revealed soon because the rumour mill claims that the iQOO 13 will launch in November this year.
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the iQOO 13 is rumoured to sport an OLED panel with a 2K resolution, a step up from the 1.5K resolution AMOLED display on the iQOO 12. Despite earlier rumours of a curved display, the new model is expected to retain a flat design. The device could have a glass body with metal frames. It will reportedly feature a single-point ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor for improved security and usability.
Under the hood, the iQOO 13 will likely be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, which is also expected to be featured in other flagship models like the OnePlus 13 and Xiaomi 15. The device could come with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.
One of the significant upgrades could be its battery capacity, rumoured to be a massive 6,000mAh, up from the 5,000mAh battery in the iQOO 12. The charging capabilities might also see an improvement, with some reports suggesting 100W fast charging, though there is some conflicting information about whether it might support 120W fast charging. Additionally, the iQOO 13 is expected to feature 50W wireless charging, a feature absent in its predecessor.
Photography enthusiasts might have something to look forward to as well. The iQOO 13 is speculated to have a robust camera setup with a triple-camera system, including three 50-megapixel sensors: a main sensor, an ultrawide lens, and a 3x periscope telephoto camera. This configuration mirrors the setup found in the iQOO 12, although the telephoto lens in the previous model was a 64-megapixel sensor. For gamers, the iQOO 13 is expected to include an oversized x-axis linear motor for improved haptic feedback and overall gaming performance. The device is also expected to come with an IP68 rating, making it resistant to water and dust.
